It involves the use of abrasives, compounds, or polishing tools to remove defects, scratches, oxidation, or other surface irregularities. In pipe fitting production, polishing is often performed after the machining or manufacturing process to improve the appearance, remove any marks left by the machining tools, and create a smooth, reflective surface.
Our advantage in Polishing process:
Polishing can be done manually using tools such as polishing cloths, abrasive pastes or polishes, and polishing wheels, or it can be done using automated machinery designed specifically for polishing purposes. The castings obtained after shakeout treatment must first be surface polished to obtain a semi-finished product with a smooth surface. We use a centrifugal polishing machine and use steel balls as polishing materials. In the centrifugal polishing machine, the steel balls and the castings are repeatedly ground to smooth the appearance.
